MCA Sports Programs

Athletics play an important role in the extracurricular program at MCA. Traditionally, Maranatha offers competitive Girl’s Volleyball and Boy’s and Girl’s Basketball.  Based on interest, we are also in the process of developing other team sports.  All students in 6th-12th are eligible to participate in our organized sports programs.

Maranatha Christian Academy is a member of the Georgia Association of Christian Schools (GACS). Students who participate in any sport are required to meet the following requirements:

1. Have a physical examination.
2. Have school or family insurance coverage.
3. Have parent or guardian approval.
4. Have a passing grade of C or higher in all classes.
5. Have satisfactory conduct grades.
6. Pay required participation/registration fee.
7. Agree to follow participation and training regulations.
8. Show respect toward coaches and others involved in the sport.

NOTE: Sports offerings are contingent on student interest and academic eligibility.
